From the Racetrack to the Street Cadillac V-Series

You might think at first glance the only thing that this Cadillac V-LMDH race car and this Cadillac CT 5-V Blackwing have in common is the luxury brand’s name. We’ll think again.

From the styling cues to the engine notes of these powerful V8s to the intuitive technology and safety features there really are multiple crossovers between these two cars.

Now, both the engine in this Blackwing and the engine in this powerful prototype are both developed in the GM Powertrain division in Pontiac, Michigan. Also, the headlights are direct manifestations from the production elements as well, meaning that they really have been adapted to the demands of racing.

Now, although they might look quite different, they do have very similar DNA built into them.
